Futureproof Financial Group Limited from Australia is a fintech/insurtech disrupter of banks, insurers and wealth managers in retirement & aged care funding. Being a first-time attendee in the 2023 edition, Futureproof got connected to IMS Digital Ventures based in Hong Kong via AFF Deal-making. At the first face-to-face meeting, they both saw great potential for a partnership. By March 2023, they have confirmed a deal, where IMS Digital became a 20% shareholder of Futureproof and one of IMS Digital’s senior consultants would be appointed as Futureproof’s Chief Technology Officer to provide tech consultation to help develop the company’s new insurtech-related platform, targeted to be launched in Q1/Q2 2024. CEO of IMS Digital would also join Futureproof’s Board of Directors.
